NFL week 4

The NFL has had an unbelievable amount of injuries so far this year affecting almost everyone's fantasy teams. I think we will have another injury this week, Randy Moss's hamstring is what I am betting on. All kidding aside, I did absolutely terrible on my College Picks so I need to really shine on my NFL picks. Here goes nothing

Oakland Raiders (+4) @ Miami Dolphins (o/u 41) --- Take OAKLAND / OVER---

Daunte Culpepper is getting the start in sunny Miami and he looked sharp coming in last week against the lowly Browns. The Raiders could easily have two more wins on the year and the Dolphins have to be happy with Ronnie Brown showing signs of life last week. I think this will actaully be a good close game with the fins winning late on a FG. Raiders 20 Dolphins 23

Houston Texans (-3) @ Atlanta Jailbirds (o/u 39.5) --Take HOUSTON / UNDER---

The texans are one of the surprises of the year playing very good defense and doing well on the offense of side of the ball as well. It looks like Ron Dayne is going to get the start as Ahman is hurting. Joey Harrington tossed the pigskin around well last week, but I do not expect him to fair as well this week. Wathc for the texans special teams to make a big play. Texans 20 Falcons 10

Baltmore Ravens (-4) @ Cleveland Browns (o/u 40) -- take BALTIMIORE / UNDER --

The ravens that everyone thought would be here have yet to show up and the browns keep hanging around. Kellen Winslow has a partially seperated shoulder which I think really hurts the browns. I expect this to be a close low scoring game with baltimore pulling away late. J. Lew will be fired up to face his old team put that will not matter in the end. Ravens 24 Browns 10

Chicago Bears (-3) @ Detroit Lions (o/u45) --- take LIONS / OVER ---

Da Bears do not look like Da Bears. Conventional Wisdom tells me to pick them, but the cowboys threw all over them last sunday nigth and well thats all the Lions can do. Kevin Jones is back and that will help the Lions rush offense. If the Lions D can hold up then the Lions will be on their way to Kitna's 10. Bears 20 Lions 27

Green Bay Packers (-2.5) @ Minnesota Vikings (o/u 38) -- take PACKERS / OVER ---

Green Bay is playing out of their mind and I find myself rooting for Brett Favre. He really enjoys the game and is fun to watch. The Pack's defense is playing well, if Green Bay can start some sort of running game they will be a very solid team. Minnesota has to be one of the worst teams in the league and if Green Bay can stop A. Peterson then they should roll to 4-0. Packers 31 Vikings 17

St. Louis Rams (+14) @ Dallas Cowboys (o/u 47) --- take RAMS / OVER---

The Rams, on paper, have a wonderful Offense, but cannot do anything. Beign without Steven Jackson will not help matters, with the rookie Brian Leonard getting his 1st start. I think the Rams will get on track with their offense, but they will not beat Dallas who will do whatever they want on offense. Rams 20 Cowboys 31

New York Jets (-3.5) @ Buffalo Bills (o/u 37.5) --- take J-E-T-S/UNDER---

The jets are on the brink of being a good team. They get good QB play not spectacular but good, have a solid RB T. Jones and a good core of WR's. I thought their Defense would be much better and this good be their game to turn it around. Poor Bills, they seem to be the poster team for injuries, Kevin Everett, Paul Poslusney, and now J.P. Losman. Marshawn Lynch has been spectacular and now rooke Trent Edwards will get his chance to shine. Jets 27 Bills 10

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3) @ Carolina Panthers (o/u 40) --- take PANTHERS / UNDER---

This is a tough game to read. The bucs have been playing well and the panthers are up and down. It looks like David Carr is going to get the start for the panthers, which adds even more to the uncertainty of this game. I think it will be close with the home team pulling it out. . Bucs 17 Panthers 21

Seattle Seahawks (-2.5) @ San Francisco 49ers (o/u 40.5) --- take SEAHAWKS / OVER---

I do not like this game at all. In my mind Seattle is the better team, and Alexander is hurt and I do not know how much. 49ers play seattle tough at home and I should pick the niners but I cannot help myself. Seahawks 27 49ers 21

Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5) @ Arizona Cardinals (o/u 41.5) --- take STEELERS / OVER --

There will be some key players out in this game. Hines Ward - out, Levi Brown - out, Anquan Boldin - out. Pittsburgh has been playing smart tough football and has ran the ball very well. The Cardinals are in limbo at the QB position and I think the Steelers will bring the heat against Leinart. Warner will play in this game at some point. Steelers 28 Cardinals 17

Kansas City Chiefs (+12) @ San Diego Chargers (o/u 39) --- take CHARGERS / OVER ---

Larry Johnson is questionable for this game and I don not know if that will even matter, as he is averaging about 50 yards a game. The Chargers will be out to kill this game and I expect their offense and defense to dominate this game. Chiefs 10 Chargers 34

Denver Broncos (+10) @ Indianapolis Colts (o/u 46.5) -- take BRONCOS / OVER ---

The Broncos are not looking as good as I thought they would be. Henry is running well, but Cutler needs to step it up. The Colts are winning, not big, but winning and thats what I think this game will be. Broncos 21 Colts 27

Philadelphia Eagles (-3) @ New York Giants (o/u 47.5) --- take GIANTS / OVER ---

The Giants had a big comeback win on the road last week and the Eagles finally showed that they were alive. I think the Eagles are a really good team, but I am going with the Giants at home. Eli is looking good and I think Plexico is finally a veteran that can be counted on. Westbrook is suppose to be questionable for this game so that could be a difference maker. If the Eagles of last week show up I think they will win. Eagles 24 Giants 28

New England Patriots (-8) @ Cincinnati Bengals (o/u 53.5) --- take PATS / OVER---

If Rudi Johnson was playing I would take the Bengals to upset the Pats, but he is not and I am not. The Pats are For Real, but I would not be surprised if the Bengals pull it off. They would need to create some turnovers but I think Carson and Co. could do what they did against the Ravens in week 1. Randy moss will pull his hamstring as well. Pats 34 Bengals 23
