NFL Mid - Season Awards
Well it's time for My first ever mid-season awards ...........drum roll
Most Surprising Team (good surprise):
The New Orleans Saints 6-2 1st place in the NFC SOUTH
I thought Brees would be a good addition but no one was predicting them to be in 1st place half way through the season. It's a good story and I think Karma has a lot to do with it. I'm rooting for them to win the NFC but not this week.
runner up: Baltimore Ravens 6-2 1st place in AFC NORTH
Most Dissapointing Team (I hate to admit it):
The defending "chumps"? Pittsburgh Steelers - 2-6 it breaks my heart
I am going to call a 10-6 finish and a loss in the AFC 2nd round to the Colts.
runner up: SI superbowl contender Miami Dolphins 2-6
Most Dissapointing Player:
Ben "band-aid" Roethlisberger - I really do not think it is all his fault as I blame Cowher for playing him too soon a few times. No player is going to ask to sit out of a game..... get it together big ben we need ya in the future.
runner up - Daunte Culpepper and TO --- at least culpepper is coming off an injury.. TO forgot how to catch costing dallas 2 games
MVP:
PEYTON - on pace for 4500+ yards 34 Tds 6 ints 16-0 (wow)
It's his year.
runner up: LT
Rookie of the Year:
We all guessed it would be a Saint just notMarques Colston (come on Reggie)
Colston is the go to guy for Brees and is a BEAST
runner up: no its not Mario but it is a Texan 4th in the NFL in Tackles Demeco Ryans
picks will be up tomorrow
