The Final Week (NCAA)

Well it's the final week of NCAA football at least until the Bowl Season Starts on December 20. There are only 13 games on the slate but there are some Biggies, 3 major conference championship games and a chance for USC to clinch a spot in the BS game (yes I am bitter)

I'll start with the Big 3 ----

BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

NEBRASKA (+3.5) v. OKLAHOMA

This should be a great game with a "trick-play" minded offense in Nebraska and a gritty Oklahoma team who has overcome a lot. I just think Oklahoma's D will be enough for the win.

Nebraska 20 Oklahoma 24

SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

ARKANSAS (+3) v. FLORIDA

I think Arkansas may be feeling bad for themselves after the loss last week to LSU, and Florida will be fired up knowing they still have a 10 % chance of being in the title game. I heard on PTI today how Florida doesn't run up the score like they use to and this hurts the Gators in the polls, Florida isn't the team they use to be in that they now rely more on their Defense, which is one of the best in the country.

Arkansas 17 Florida 28

ACC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

WAKE FOREST (+3) v. GEORGIA TECH

I don't know what to think of GT, they seem to never utilize their best player Calvin Johnson and there D goes from one of the best to mediocre every other week. Wake Forest was impressive in College Park last week and I think its their year

WF 24 GT 21

The rest of the games:

OHIO (+3) @ CENTRAL MICHIGAN - MAC CHAMPIONSHIP

I like Ohio in this game mainly because of how these two teams have been playing to end the year. Should be a close game.

Ohio 27 C. Mich 23

SO. MISS (+4.5) @ HOUSTON - CONFERENCE USA CHAMPIONSHIP

This is an interesting line as So Miss has already beat Houston 31-27 this year. I think So Miss could lose this game but I'll go Favre-style.

So. Miss 28 Houston 24

RUTGERS (+8) @ WVU TOP PICK

WVU averages over 300 yards rushing and only give up around 50 yards rushing a game, thats enough for me as Rutgers has no pass offense. WVU will dominate in Morgantown.

Rutgers 20 WVU 38

ARMY (+20.5) @ NAVY

Navy averages 333 yards rushing and army gives up a lot of yards rushing. Navy should have a field day.

Army 13 Navy 42

LA. TECH (+10) @ NEW MEXICO ST

both teams played well last week and I like la tech getting 10.

La Tech 27 NM St 24

STANFORD (+28) @ CALIFORNIA

Cal's offensive has been missing in the last few weeks and altough stanford is 1-10 they are a 'decent' team. Cal could cover but i'll take the 28.

Stanford 13 Cal 38

USC (+13.5) @ UCLA

This is my PLEASE GOD LET UCLA WIN game of the week. Can ucla win? yes they are playing well and are at home. USC however is on a roll and are poised to play Ohio St in the BS final game but you can be sure I'll be pulling for ucla.

USC 21 ucla 24

AIR FORCE (+17) @ TCU

AF runs and TCU stops the run we will see which one is better and I think TCU will have enough Fire Power to win by 20.

AF 17 TCU 37

FRESNO ST (+4) @ SAN JOSE ST

Fresno St went from the top to the bottom quickly and SJ St has had an impressive year.

Fresno State 20 San Jose St 31

UCONN (+27) @ LOUISVILLE

This is a big line and it should be as L'ville is an offensive powerhouse, however I don't think they will win by 27.

uconn 20 L'ville 42

COLORADO ST (-3) @ SD ST TOP PICK

The rams are having a down year but come on they are better than 3 points against Marshall's old team.

Col St 35 SD ST 14

OREGON ST (+7.5) @ HAWAII TOP PICK

Oregon st has played 2 teams similar to Hawaii and they lost 42-13 to boise state and 41-14 to Cal, how did they beat USC is the true question Hawaii will dominate.

Oregon State 24 Hawaii 45

LA MONROE (-3) @ LA LAFAYETTE

who cares.

monroe 23 lafayette 24

TROY (-12) @ FLA INT'L TOP PICK of the week

fla int'l may be one of the worst team ever at 0-11 they are averaging less than a TD a game. For the second week in a row Fla Int'l is involved in my Pick of the Week.

Troy 31 Fla Int'l 10
